Georgetown 8, Cornell 5.  Wait 'til next year.:`(

At the half Georgetown had 32 shots, Cornell had 4.  Score was 2-0 Georgetown.

Wow. Sounds like Cynar earned his supper today.

Those are total shots, not shots on goal, but still... ::help::

I knew that our offense would be a big "question mark" coming into this season, but...  geez...  (I hope this wasn't our answer!)  ::worry::

So much for making Swami's bold #7 ranking of the Big Red look magically wise...  :-(

I guess we'll just have to pray for a repeat of the "miracle of 2000"...  ::rolleyes::

For those in town for the hockey QF series and nothing to do on Saturday afternoon, the Men's Lax team hosts UMBC at 2:00 on Schoellkopf Field.  It's a rematch of a tough, 6-5 Red loss in Baltimore last year.

...And with the way the Big Red "O" has been playing, I'd expect a similar score this year...  :-(  (...and that's assuming that Cynar can improve on his 31% save efficiency in the Colgate near-disaster... (maybe pre-season 1st-team All-America is the kiss of death?!?!)  ::uhoh::
