Amazing work tonight by the twins. They are doing a great job cycling with Hornby. And Cam's goal was pure grit and smarts.

Extremly gorgeous is more like the word to describe them, they are great hockey players as well. Back in junior hockey they made some plays that not even their parents knew where it came from.  Way to go Abbotts, sarnia is behind you 100%. Ps. Donny says hey

lindsay

I would have to agree with the above post, if anyone has any pictures of the twins, anything at all can they send them to me?
Thanks

Will

Glad to see some fans from the Abbotts' pre-Cornell days here in the forum.  I don't know if the forum is the best way to communicate with them (I thought they weren't allowed to check the web for what people are saying about them?), but I'm sure the sentiment is appreciated! :-D

Is next year here yet?

How can they be "not allowed" to check the forum?

I thought Schafer more or less directed the players not to go looking for what we're saying about them on the web.  I mean, I guess Schafer can't watch all of the players 24/7 so they could just surf to the eLF, the USCHO Forum, or anywhere else, but it would just seem like a good idea, in order for the players to not get easily psyched out by the more or less useless blather that most of us type out from day to day.  Maybe I got the wrong impression about this?

Sounds like something any coach would do. The players don't need to be distracted by this stuff.

I have the impression that it is not uncommon for coaches to forbid their players to even read newspaper accounts for fear of their getting ideas.

Sam Kalhoun

I have the impression that at some schools, the players are simply unable to read the newspaper accounts of their games ::screwy:: (cough, UNH)

That is what he wrote to me when I complained about the lousy effort they (AD) were making regarding the you-pay internet broadcasts and lack of hockey cam. His comment was you can't believe all that is written on the web ::rolleyes:: , therefore I shouln't believe that the AD wasn't doing the best that he could. ::yark:: He did not allow his players to read the websites, but how was he going to stop them. ::twitch::

They'd read "The New Hampshire Online" to see newspaper accounts, but for some reason they have yet to figure out, they haven't been able to get the URL www.thn.uhn.edu to work.

Seems to me all one had to read was what the AD and his assistant (or is it associate?) wrote in their responses to our letters and emails. ::uhoh::
