Cornell v. Penn Football - Nov. 7

[Al DeFlorio]

McColgan can move in the open field. Close to 40 yards rushing on this drive. Follows it up with a gift interception that Penn, thankfully, turns down.

Runs like Gary Wood, a Cornell QB who also returned kickoffs.

2:04, Cornell takes over at their own 23. McColgan takes a busted play, shrugs of a tackle behind the line then a stiff-arm in the open field to gain ~20 on first down. Two minute warning.

Let's build a legend, kid.

5-22 passing isn't going to win many games.

Nope. But I have to admit he sprayed a few but also put the ball on his receivers' hands in tight windows and nobody could make a catch. Not ideal weather but you have to help your QB.

What a hilarious season. Shocking wins over Yale and Lehigh and a shitshow otherwise.

Its not like the team is getting blown out either.  Was tough watching that 3rd Quarter with opportunities to make hay with good field position and only get 3 points. McColgan was making the rookie mistake of holding to the ball way too long.

Trots, Anne, and I were hanging before the game and made the mistake of putting the game on.

1) the black uniforms SUCK burn them
2) this team is not good at football

Another tough loss today.   Anyone know what injury GBS sustained early in the first quarter?   I am not optimistic regarding the direction of this football program.   We could finish the season at 3-7, which is just a repeat of the Archer era.
