SHU played better tonight but I didn't like some of the defensive breakdowns and I thought the GWG was not a good one to give up (another tight angle goal from the near post). Better to have these games now than later in the season

you gotta understand, my therapist gave up on trying to figure out what is wrong with me. it IS my fault until i figure out what i did wrong.

it might've been because i brought my own newspaper and didn't take hyla's.

or i didn't stop by empire after the game. that could definitely be it too.

or maybe it was me dunking on the smoke shop. i might have to go there to set the cosmic order back in place again.

yes i know logically there is no basis in reality for "annoying bitch from section C changes pre/postgame ritual to fix hockey team that barely knows she exists". it makes ME feel better and more in control, however.

I have paid my dues twice over to the Bodega Gods, may they bless us with two wins next week.

Quote from: BearLover on October 31, 2026, 09:40:54 PMSeemed like this weekend Rousseau gave up two goals that a taller goalie would have saved (yesterday's tying goal and today's winning goal). Neither of the two auditions for the sixth D inspired confidence (and I believe the sixth D was on the ice for the majority of goals allowed this weekend).

I believe tonight was the worst attended game in the last 30 years, and possibly since 1966.
Extreme levels of sloppiness aside, this game boiled down to questions in goal and defensive depth. I think the defensive depth should be fine. I'm surprised Tuminaro can't crack the lineup, he was drafted as an overager just a few months ago. Re: goaltending will need to see more.

Bluelightning

Expand the tournament to 43 teams!
I thought the Catalano/Armstrong/?? Line played with the best energy tonight.

Armstrong, Arend, Hiscock all had very good games. Catalano too.

I believe Jason said last night that Tuminaro is banged up but should be able to play soon.

Feels like a silver lining is that most teams have been pretty up and down this season so far. Q lost to Army. Michigan lost to Ohio State. Etc, etc.

Sacred fart has split with everyone, this is far from an NPI disaster but is certainly a set back. Absolutely need at least 3 points next weekend, ideally 4+.

Trotsky

There's no "need" in November, other than Tuesday.

Play well for 60 minutes.
