Wonderful work, but any way to make him look like he didn't just shit himself?
That is his picture on the roster 😭

You do realize that Bond's foe in that movie was named RED Grant?

All things considered, we looked pretty good, save for a stretch in the 2nd.

Child.

To be fair, I was 3 when that movie came out.

We are third in NPI.

I advise everyone to take this ranking extremely seriously.

World's most crowded bus on the way to Collegetown. Squished in next to two Rangers (yuck) fans. In my Devils hat. 😂

Are you sure about that? Looked to me like he went short-side and scored on a tiny sliver of open net to the right of Rousseau's helmet. But the ESPN feed wasn't great so I'm not certain.

- Other blind boxes
- Zyns/smoking things
- Cold drinks

My takes:

We were extremely sloppy, which probably comes with it being the first game of the season, but largely dominated possession when we weren't turning the puck over/blowing assignments. Though, as always with hockey, it's hard to tell how much of that was truly unforced, as SHU may have been defending/forechecking aggressively and skating fast in transition.

In the second period we seemed to get beat and/or blow assignments a lot in transition.

As mentioned above I think I disagree with the earlier post that Rousseau blew it on the goal. Though you'd need a much higher-definition view to know for sure.

Cornell was fortunate about the extreme penalty disparity. Our PK looked shaky in SHU's one opportunity.

The team seems really deep, lots of skill guys not in the lineup. Wonder if we really need a checking line or if we can roll four goal-scoring lines like we did in 2019-20. We probably have the talent to do so.

The red goal lighting looked very stupid, and it was only used for like a 1-second moment after each goal, so what's even the point?

I am progressively more dismayed by how bad the crowds are getting. The camera panned across Section A about a minute into the game before the camera operator realized there were literally 0 fans in it aside from the band, and we never caught a glimpse of that section again. The rink overall seemed about half-full (maybe 2,200 fans total).

The lighting was much better and it did help the ESPN feed. You can actually see the puck go into the net now.

I couldn't get a good grasp on how crowded the student side was, but the townie side was as empty as I've seen it.

I know what one of those things are.

Fun fact: played by Robert Shaw, a classically trained actor who was also Quint in Jaws and the author of "The Man in the Glass Booth," a fine play about identity and sanity.

Union is second.

Yale is fourteenth.

Seems legit.
