Many coaches and trainers are aware of the altitude and any worth their salt will have teams that travel to Colorado sufficiently ready for the altitude. The results during the game will speak for themselves

adamw

I've never heard a single coach complain about altitude when playing Denver - on campus or in Loveland. They figure it out.

It takes at least two weeks and for the first five days you are not supposed to do anything strenuous. So of course they aren't going to complain about it, but it's definitely a factor

Yeah, we're playing Denver in Denver, bc Dart has to match with Wisco now.

Not optimal. Schafer would've made the game a dogfight. Hopefully Casey can do the same.

In addition to the altitude, Denver also gets home games. They have the entire crowd behind them. They get to sleep in their own beds and use their own recovery facilities after the games. Just like Providence did when they beat us in 2019. Not because they have the highest seed in the regional but because they bid the most money for it.

Makes a mockery of fairness.

At the end of the day, it probably gives them a 5% greater chance of winning.

Ughh

It was sweet beating Denver in 2023. DeSantis and Wallace were part of that team

We beat Denver in 2023 and lost to them in 2024. In 2024, Walsh and Castagna both had golden chances to tie the game the closing minutes. Castagna took a very bad penalty that led to the Denver GWG.

Maybe minn state will take care of them and we won't have to worry about it. But I agree. This hosting nonsense needs to go.
