Close but not quite.  If Cornell goes 0-3 and Princeton goes 3-0, all in regulation, they tie for third, and the tiebreaker goes Princeton's way thanks to record against top 4.

The Big Red has wrapped up a first-round bye, and if they take care of bid-ness against Princeton tomorrow night, they clinch third.

Hockey is a funny game. We're one of the hottest teams in the country and then Quinnipiac comes and kicks our asses at our house. Then we have one of our worst weekends in years, before stomping them at their place, despite them bitching us in faceoffs which is one of our best areas of the game. Gotta keep this momentum going

Dafatone

Well that was nice.

What a fucking bitch.
In the words of 2013 Schafer, "a fucking classless asshole."
Did he get suspended for that one 😂
According to this account, yup:

If memory serves that comment was because Rand targeted an Cornell player coming off an injury right at the injured point.  Now, yes, if you send a guy out there he better be healthy enough to play.  But that is still Oakland Raiders shit.

In our recent podcast with Rand - I asked him about Schafer, and he said nice things, and referred to this incident. I encourage a listen.

This seems very unlikely but it's late and I can't find the error.

tldr: 12-2-1 against top 5 opponents since the start of the 2018 season.

Also, this was our largest margin of victory over a top 5 team since at least 1983.

Inspiration for me to work all that earlier polling data (since 1970) throughout the site.

So far.

Yes, so far. Homer and Bart agree, too.

More Best Games to come.

I thought the team had a good balance of choosing to shoot/choosing to pass on its offensive zone opportunities. From the start of the season it seems there's been an attitude to not forego quality shots for an attempt a pass and that it was generally working for the team. But over the last few games when the team stuggled I thought the pendulum had swung too far and the team was just shooting, taking some low quality shots when a clear passing lane was there to a teammate that would have a much better chance of scoring.

Bearlover - what will you complain about?

Does anyone know where the farm rink is (roughly, I'm not trying to pay a visit :-) )?
