6'5 Dman putting up decent stats in the WHL. We need to get this kid. Not committed anywhere from what I can find.
Judging by this (amazing) article by Jane, Ondrej loved it here, their father pushes education, and it's not atypical for them to commit late.  :)

Who knows?  Maybe he'll move to the USHL and we'll pick him up.

BTW, he never visited.  Sorry.  Couldn't resist.

Another case of same last name, no discernible relation. We just did this with the Kempfs.

They also have the same father's name, their fathers both played hockey, and they're both from Prague.  So I made the connection.

But I just found an article that Ondrej has an older brother named Tomaš, and according to the Cornell webpage, Ondrej has only one brother.  So I guess you're right and they're not related.

My bad.

Yeah, I checked Ondra as well as Max, couldn't see that THEY were related in any way.

Cole Hutson takes a puck to the head/neck. Stretchered off and taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Yeouch.

Yeah, that was ugly.

Edit:  They just announced during the break in the late game that Hutson was released from the hospital.

My god the US needs a goalie. Preparing to get humbled by Sweden.

CZE and SVK nearly pull the double.  At a neutral site we probably do.

Czechs up 3-2 on Canada after 2 in the SF.  Winner plays Sweden.
