We do have 2 alums still active in the AHL playoffs. Colorado (Jacob MacDonald and Matt Stienburg) is down 1-0 in their conference final series against Chicago. MacDonald has definitely been playing, but I don't believe Stienburg has been in the lineup during the playoffs.

MacDonald scored for Colorado in game
2 of their AHL conference final series against Chicago, en route to a 5-2 win which knotted the series at 1-1. Video here: https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1598213262306010&id=ColoradoEagles

Game 3 is tonight.

Guilday, Jenner, O'Neill, Saulnier, Zandee-Hart, Bourbonnais, Daniel were not protected in Phase 1 of the PWHL expansion. (Neither were Delianedis or Katie Chan.)

Probably likely enough one or more is on a new expansion team by the end of the process.

The process is complicated. I seem to recall players on multi year contracts like Guilday didn't need to be protected. But I could be wrong.

Lot of speculation Jenner will sign with Hamilton and play her final season(s) in her hometown.

I thought players on multiyear contracts either had to be protected or were exposed the same as others, but that their contract terms would migrate with them, unless the expansion team was gonna pay more.

And Guilday has reportedly signed in San Jose. (I was wrong about how the protection worked).

By the way, if you're not watching this Stanley Cup Final, you absolutely should be. Shit's INSANE. No lead is safe. Multiple overtime mayhem. Last minute goals. Insanity all around.

OTOH, two teams I'd rather the roof fell in on than win.

One of the best final series I've seen in a very long time! Can't wait for game 4!
Glad to see McNabb back out there - quite the stitch job!

I fear my cardiac health has never been worse.

Apparently he got "between 20 and 30 stitches" and was able to come back to the rink before the end of game 2.

He strolled into T-Mobile Arena hours before puck drop, dressed in a dapper suit with a cup of coffee in hand. It was far too casual for a man who just had his nose sewn back together, but that's McNabb to a tee.

The red scarf union supporters group raises money for the Condors every year too. And rallies members to cheer at games.  It's a great connection.

MacDonald and the Colorado Eagles are going to game 7 against Chicago tonight in the AHL conference finals. The winner gets Toronto in the Calder Cup finals.
