Any coach who could get AIC to win anything is talented. He might get attracted elsewhere if RPI makes the NCAA tourney in the next couple of years. I will be happy next year if RPI makes Lake Placid for the first time ever.

I couldn't tell if this was a joke I missed or an exaggeration - but RPI won the 1995 ECAC Tournament in Lake Placid and made it a bunch of other times. Unless you mean since the tournament returned to LP.

Catalano has a younger brother, maybe visiting to check out Cornell.  Guy to our right of Catalano 2, looks like FFJOL.

But the rest of them are all upperclassmen - not that "going to your teammate's AHL debut" is an upperclassman-only thing but, y'know, in a car full of upperclassmen be the freshman ig. The one in the hoodie you could not pay me to guess who it is.

This makes me even happier that the currently known recruit list for 2026 is IMHO significantly better than Cornell's.

On call with my friend who's trying to keep up with the 24-25 class. Today we learned that Kempf had surgery and was out for a LONG time, and is now being loaned down to the ECHL.

Travis Mitchell started for the Bridgeport Islanders against the LV Phantoms last night.  He got a decent amount of ice time, but he was -3 on the night with 2 SOG.

Phantoms won, 7-3.

I'm watching the replay of that game on NHL Network.  It was a pretty goal.

With an assist last night, Malinski hits the 40 point mark for the season (8G, 32A). It's especially impressive given that he has gotten almost zero power-play time, except on the rare occasions when Makar and Toews are both out of the lineup.
