is the pre-game thing starting at 7 or starting before the game. That might be useful information to make clear.

This a nice article about Ken Dryden's grandson, who is a goalie for Taft School in Connecticut. It sounds like he a wonderful relationship with Ken.

I haven't noticed mention of Jane McNally's excellent article on this year's Cornell goalie masks.  https://www.cornellsun.com/article/2025/12/look-good-play-good-men-s-hockey-s-goaltenders-masks  I'm posting here because I was most impressed with Cournoyer's tribute to The Big Kid on his mask - an image of Dryden leaning on McGraw Tower instead of on his upright stick.

Another great piece by Jane.

One flaw on Cournoyer's helmet though.

The photo of Ken in his Montreal uniform shows the blocker on his right hand, the mask artist put it on his left hand.

I would assume they just flipped the photo of Dryden and didn't think about blocker/glove handedness.

I think you're right.  Ken had a simple Montreal Logo on his face mask that looks reversed on the Cournoyer helmet as well.

For those too young to read Cornell Class Notes prior to 1975, you might find this interesting: David Elenbaas '73 writes that, prior to his Cornell freshman year in 1969, he was on Reach for the Top, a high school quiz show developed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and produced across Canada. His team not only won the regional Toronto championship—moderated by a young man named Alex Trebek—but also the National Championship.

That freshman fall of 1969, CBC decided to have his team compete against schools from Hawaii, filmed and later televised across Canada. "This necessitated my having to take a two-week leave from my studies." Three years later, David was the goalie on the Big Red men's hockey team playing at Harvard when he heard a loud clucking sound coming from over his shoulder: a live chicken appeared and landed in his crease—and a tradition was born. "Fast forward a few years later and I am dressed as the back-up goalie to the Cornell great Ken Dryden '69 on the Montreal Canadiens."
