Ugh, felt like we really should've won that one in the second half. On the other hand, we gave them way too many counterattacks and corners so can't be too mad. The amount of corners given up today was very concerning, considering that's how we've given up most of our goals on the season. Our whole team besides Andrew Johnson is vertically challenged, well except for Colin Johnson but I can literally see that he's afraid to head the ball out there (because I play the same way).

Kolbl was a dog today, working his ass off and getting up for headers even with the broken nose/orbital, whatever it is.

I think we have to take Miller off the pens after his 0 for 2 start. He's by far our best player but if it's not working it's not working, unless we can get a couple low leverage pens down the stretch to get him back on track for the playoffs.

These are the games that make me feel like we would be a top 5 team in the country if we still had Harris, feels like nobody on this team can finish consistently.

Ah well, decent result overall, and Saturday is the one that really matters. I would love to be able to watch the Ivy tourney from the stands here. Plus Princeton is #1 in the RPI so a lot of room to move up there if we get get a win.

Miller had a much better strike on tonight's PK than against Yale, but he's now 0 for 2 this year from the spot. I'm surprised Diakos isn't the guy getting those opportunities, but Smith knows a lot more about his team than I do.

not that big a leap in RPI to my surprise. only up to 54.

Four games against teams in the bottom 40 of RPI is a heavy anchor.  And Western Michigan was supposed to be much better.  Though the Broncos could close strong.

sure but i was hoping for more of a leap after the Yale bounce

Huge game against RPI #1 Princeton today ...

chimpfood

2-0 Princeton at half. We're not playing that much worse but we had some bad giveaways and Princeton just finished their chances, like a good team does. They're also massive so none of our balls over the top are working. Miller hasn't touched the ball much so I think second half we need to get the offense moving through him in the midfield.

CU77

And the halftime score holds. Red just could not get much going against the Tigers.

Second half was embarrassing. Princeton was a very good team but you can't keep try to force balls over the top against a back line that's all 6 foot 2. Also what the hell were we doing with miller in the second half, he was floating around up top instead of playing midfield.

No surprise, evel losing to Princeton bumped us up to 47.

Looked totally dominant today against a decent Colgate team. 0-0 at half but 5-0 final. I think we have to roll with this new lineup now unless it doesn't produce for a few games. No disrespect to Latona and Samways but it feels like they produce so little for how much they have played this season.

ugarte

Up to 42 in RPI and now a tick ahead of Brown. Princeton still sitting at #1.

Big game against Penn today. They've had a disappointing season but they're a super talented team and we're away

chimpfood

Dominant half for us but no score. 0-0 at half but I'm confident we'll pull this one out.

They did.  2-1 was the final.  Penn scored their goal in the final minute just to make it interesting.
