Cornell picks up a goalie recruit - Hagan Bach, G.

From Niskayuna, close to Albany.

Apr 17, 2009. 17yo. 6'2" and 201lbs already.

As per EP spent last year in the OJHL with a .915 and 2.25. Prior to that did two years at Shattuck's.

Likely plays in the OHL with Barrie next year.

EP projects him to come in in 28-29.

Asking my CHL friend about him...
"Is he any good?"
"Maybe? He had a really good triple-A career. He played with Thomas Carbonneau..."

They'll keep an eye on him for me 🥰

Is this a hopeful sign?  Or the exception that proves that Cornell recruiting is in the tank, doomed by the eligibility limitations and revenue sharing?

Is it just his warm-up year before transferring to the B1G?

I mean, he'll almost certainly be in the OHL next year, 26-27, and 27-28 as well, either coming to Lynah in 28-29 when he's 19 or 29-30 when he's 20. Good size, seems like a decent get. Possible that he's slated to be the next starter after Rousseau. Also possible he never does that well. Also possible he decommits in 2 years and goes to the B1G. Who knows?

Yeah all we can do is monitor the pipeline.  No idea if/when/where leaks will occur.

Rosters by Class and by Number up on TBRW.  With all the transactions and number change I guarantee I fucked something up so, please peck away.

Both of these on Class, not Number.

FWIW, the wife of one of my great-granduncles was born in 1865 in Hagenbach in the present-day Landkreis Forchheim (Forchheim county) in Bavaria. She perished in 1943 in Theresienstadt.

I assume that AI information is putting her in a Cornell uniform.

Are we switching to UnderArmor this year? I like the real laces.
"Yo Paulie - I don't see no crowd gathering 'round you neither."

Somebody on that page committed to Franklin Pierce.  I just barely remember it was that one of the schools exploring going to D-1.  Is this it?

New Princeton commit Jack O'Dell had his sights set on the Ivy League

Hearing that the schools he visited were Brown, Cornell, Princeton, Yale

O'Dell was at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup Camp. The 6-foot-2, 194-pound defenseman is a two-way force and is a 2027 NHL Draft prospect.

Big get for Princeton.

Until such point as the three-to-five college hockey accounts all move to Bluesky or whatever the fuck, we're going to be using Twitter.

And stop calling it X. It's Twitter.
