I assume part of it is having enough locker room space for all the schools competing throughout the weekend. This year, it's 8 games over four days, though I don't know if the women's final four being at the same location is just this year or if they plan to continue it.

Womens at same location as mens is just this year, different locations for 2026 through 2028.

No, the deal is pre-fixed by the NCAA, which gets most of the money.

Not me. Getting into a run & gun with Cuse would be very dangerous; ask Princeton.

Ah, OK. They did say yesterday that the men's final four will be moved to Charlottesville next year. Was supposed to be in Boston again, but they are moving because of World Cup preparations.

Since yesterday, Ticketmaster opened up sales on sections 101-106, from the Cornell section of 107 all the way to the end zone.  I'll probably be buying in 106 once I know how many.

Yesterday I sat in CL7. It's above 107 and was a bit more expensive (just over $100). (When I looked, seats in 107 were no longer available.) The seats are allegedly more comfortable, and there's a pretty nice indoor food & eating area at the top of the section. With my seat high up, my view of the field was excellent. (Through binoculars I could see faceoffs real well.) CL7 was also behind the Cornell bench area, and I could hear Coach Buszek yell "TIME!" just before Goldstein scored the last, empty net, goal against PSU.

Prices in CL7 for tomorrow are just under $70. There's also one seat available in CL11, which is similar but closer to the midfield line and on the other side of it.

Not sure if this is something meant to be sent out more widely, but the Cornell Club of Boston had a discounted ticket link for both the semis and now for the finals. Link to the group is here: https://www.gofevo.com/event/Cornelllacrosse220250519-08453104?purl=9570296f660c

I bought both my semifinals and finals ticket through this, and there seems to be quite a few tickets in sections adjacent to 107. They're not hugely discounted vs. just buying directly through TM, but still saves a few bucks.

I bought my ticket last night, so I'm a few dollars short and about a day late. Nonetheless, and FWIW, the CCB site links to Ticketmaster, and, as I write this, TM shows nothing available in 107, and only one CL section (not CL7, which is above 107) having seats now.

ChatGPT reports yesterday's attendance was 31,524, although the first time I asked it, CGPT only reported that Syracuse played Maryland; I had to ask it specifically about Cornell vs. PSU. Just can't get no respect, even from ASCI ("Artificial S0-Called Intelligence"). ChatGPT also says the attendance shows the growing interest in the sport, but it doesn't give any data to support this claim. Oh well, what else should we expect in this trumped-up era?
