Green goalie with a buddy pass that cost them.

We're losing cutters far too often, but overall good defense today.

All wins are good wins! On to the tournament.

In hockey, that goalie steals a game. In lacrosse, it all works out.

Did anyone at the game get a picture of people sitting in the bleachers on the west side of the field?

Sad to see those guys go. A wonderful group!

Quote from: SwampyThis could be a classic trap game. Dartmouth has won some respect this year and has nothing to lose next weekend except their pride. Meanwhile, Cornell might be lulled into a false sense of security by Dartmouth's history & record. Cornell also might be looking ahead to the ILT & Memorial Day.

I guess we have our answer, yes this was  indeed a trap game. Dartmouth goalie made some great safes, and we're fortunate to come out ahead.

Yes, and it meant that the non-starting seniors did not get onto the field. Maybe next Friday against Yale!

I took a couple short videos from those bleachers. Watched the game with one of my kids (freshman at Cornell) from there. A smidge low for my taste even near the top since the bleachers don't have that many rows, but close to the field so you could hear the on-field player chatter and hits well, so fun place to watch from.

Spot on response.
Trap game
Almost "Goalied"
Lesser versions of Cornell lacrosse would have lost this game....this year's squad did enough to win.
Thinks this speaks volumes for the maturity of the players and coaching staff!
Looking forward to May

Watching Kirst's steal and feed to Firth on goal #7, I love how he played rope-a-dope by just jogging up the field and then reaching out his stick at the last second. He knew where Dartmouth player was going to be passing and gave him plenty of room to do it.
