Albany is falling asleep and not guarding the attack on the front doorstep.

losing Dalton on the backside crease for the 1st goal I can see. so many other scoring options whose jersey number might be a higher priority
but for the same set to work on the next possession with Kirst being unguarded is just real bad defense

Firth on the doorstep on the EMO. Very patiently stick faked and froze the goalie, then calmly stuck it on the far side. He's a real talent.

When they are 6 on 6, the Cornell offense moves the ball like it's an EMO.

The one goal for Albany was a weak side cutter. We've been a little bit susceptible to that this year.

Maybe the 1-3-2 zone defense slowed down Cornell a little bit. The X Goldstein coming around the corner puts real pressure on the defense and leads to come good looks. Cornell also used the skip pass effectively against the zone.
