Thought hoops was the same night.  Too lazy to check.

Hoops was night before. Went to Syracuse for the game. Then drove to Albany to watch the hockey the next night.

I did the same thing.  Unfortunately, I also drove home Saturday.

I drove back to Syracuse for the regional final. Then home. lol

I remain the only person on here who wants us to go to a Sioux Falls regional.

And I'd take Bison Crap, Montana. It'd still probably be a 5 hour drive (this is a damn big state).

Ok. I was there in 2010 with UNH Denver and rit.  Empty.

I was there too, and surprised by the small Cornell contingent.  We had a much smaller block of fans than we did in Minny in '05 or Green Bay in '06.  Perhaps a few relatively down years from '07 to '09 contributed to that.  I don't recall whether it was Spring Break for the students.  The BBall game vs. Ky at Syracuse was the night before the Albany regional.

The 2010 regional was at the tail end of Spring Break that year.  It might have affected attendance.  Then again, at that point in time, I think Cornell's Spring Break week was always bookended by the ECAC Final 4/5 and the NCAA regionals, so it didn't affect 2005 or 2006 in the same way.  (Spring Break week has since been pushed back to the first week of April, basically right now.)

Yeah, but you can cover 450-500 miles in those five hours in MT.
