It's giving day!!! Let's give to all the organizations that keep Lynah, Lynah from the Men's and Women's Team to the Bands. Sending lots of love too as we close out the season!!!!

Also the traveling weirdos need the money too, athletics will always play for the team. But I want to see the band travel with the team more and bring lynah all the way to the other arenas

Its just so shocking to be at a game and then band isnt playing while they wait for some piped in country music to start.

As a general rule I don't like Giving Day (I'm sure I explained why on this forum at some point), but since we hadn't yet made our annual men's hockey gift for 2024-25 we just went ahead . Especially important to honor Coach Schafer's swansong.

Unfortunately schools all over are involved with a Giving Day.

Blah, blah.

I already get end of year reminders, then in January phone calls from teams that I already support and have given to.

Now this!

What's next month's pitch?

Might be easier to take if when they ask me again for money, they first thank me for already haven given and then give their pitch.

I heard that the band sends out postcards with a handwritten message.

Also, athletics does not give money to the band, so events like giving day actually are the reason why the band can be at so many hockey games.

Snowball

Excited to get my postcard, love the pep band.
