Starting lineup booing was the loudest I have heard in a while. Two girls behind me who apparently have never done this before. I will have to explain to them how hockey works, I think.

UMD pretty firmly in control so far, playing pretty aggressive and mean too. Lots of scrums initiated with lots of jawing and "come get some" hand gestures.

Came out with a LOT more steam after the first timeout. Couple of good chances.

Very feisty and physical game so far; shades of last weekend's semifinal against Clarkson. UMD is big and strong and has gotten away with some borderline interferences to start breakouts.

Momentum definitely swinging toward us in the second half of the period. I think UMD realized they weren't going to be able to keep that pace up for three periods.
