Imagine those photos with Patty Kazmaier Award-winner Izzy Daniel still skating for Cornell. Ah, well, this team could go further than the 2024 NCAA second-round team.

Daily Flemalty. We've looked good so far.

Prefontaine took a tumble with a Union player. Floating, but I think she'll be back for the second.

All tied to end the first, 0-0.

I didn't catch yesterday's game, but Union seems pretty chippy today : a lot of  post-whistle shoving and minor cheap shots. Cornell women are doing a nice job ignoring it so far.

They're mad <3

In other news, absolute chaos in front of the Union net.

And the play is under review. Assuming for someone shoving someone.

No penalty!

Insane that this game is tied. Union is not close to Cornell's level. Funny to say but this team needs to shoot more because the women are much better than the men at planting a screener at the top of the crease. Their skill gets them plenty of opportunities anyway but there's a little too much reluctance to count on the screener to deflect / clean up on rebounds.

Refs choosing to ignore numerous instances of hooking, holding, and body checking committed by union players. Seems to be the only way they can slow our forwards down.

Schiff to the box, ending our PP. She looked like she was gonna commit murder out there...

We finally get a power play after a union player drags Messier down by the side of her head. And now a big scrum in front of the U net after a flurry of chances.

And the one time we retaliate we get under review for a major. Pathetic

Matching calls so the pp will continue, depending on the review of the major penalty.

I legitimately did not notice they jailed another Union player LOL. Look at me go...
