Knowing the methodology, I think the team that surprised me after the turning of the crank is Brown at #3.  

I'll be interested to see the effect of the coaching changes at Clarkson, UVM, and Union.  Something just tells me that Roll will have a huge impact in Potsdam right off the bat, as the '02-'03 disappointmentn was due to a huge weight on the shoulders of the players brought on by the Morris "issue."

Late breaking news also of the coaching change at 'Gate.  1/3 of the ECAC has new coaches - perhaps "returning games coached" should be part of the method!   ::screwy::

I've thought about the coaching change as a regression to the mean factor -- a good thing for bad teams and vice versa.  But not this year.
