I'm surprised shots were only 7-6 in the third period; seemed like Cornell had at most 4 minutes of O-zone time in the third. After playing really solidly the first two periods, Cornell could do almost nothing in the third besides dump and change. That is not the way to protect a lead—the way to protect a lead is to possess the puck.

Good result overall but obviously the late goal stings.
