The TBRW game-by-game Cornell history now includes dates and overtimes for all games from 12/14/58 forward.  Dates for games prior to 1949 are still missing.

As always, corrections and comments are welcome.

Greg, tremendous work (as always). I quickly looked at a couple years and one nit caught my eye under 1992:
28.  Mar 13 W 4 - 3  vs Clarkson ECAC SF: Boston
I'm quite certain that this game went to OT, I believe two (although not full 20 minute OTs if I recall correctly). In fact, somewhere I have this game on tape (being over ten years old, I wonder how well the vhs tape has held up).

Btw, did you ever track down all the college logos you were seeking? I sent you a few by email but I don't think any of them were exactly what you were looking for.

Greg Berge

Thanks.  That Clarkson SF was 2ot -- I ought to have known, I was there.  ;-)

Funny you should mention the VHS of that game.  My copy is so threadbare that the players look like legos.

I have a full set of logos.  There are a few ugly new ones that I'm stuck with (cartoonish monstrosities roughly equivalent to the idiotic remake of the Cornell bear), but at least there's something from everybody.

I have a gif and bmp of the old Cornell logo (The bear leaning on a "C") if you want it, Greg.

Found a bad link for yah.

The link to Dryden's final game sends you to the box score for the NCAA SF and not the final as it ought to.

And the game-winner in that semi-final appears to be anonymous, too.

The 1973 ECAC championship game gives three assists to "Ugolino," and it should be Ugolini.

All 3 fixed, thank you.

Jeff, is your logo the same as the one appearing on this page?: http://www.spiritone.com/~kepler/cornellHistory/cornellHistoryIndex.html

Jeff Hopkins \'82

Slightly bigger, but yeah, that's the one.

The 1969 ECAC championship game box credits "Dufie" with a goal.  I'm guessing that should be Bill Duthie.

[Edit:  In the 1972 ECAC championship game, BU's third goal is credited to "Dandy."  This is purely off the top-of-the-head, but I remember a John Danby at BU, and a not a Dandy.  ("Dandies" usually went to Hahvahd in those days.)]

[Edit II:  I don't think anyone from Brown scored in the 1980 ECAC championship game.;)]

It was, and it's fixed.  Thanks.

[Danby was indeed correct -- good memory.]

[Dartmouth has been reinstalled as the 1980 runner-up.]

Greg,
Thanks for putting this all together.  In the '69 NCAA championship, the line score reads North Dakota where it should be Denver.  Also, I'm 99.9% sure that the Denver goalie was Gerry Powers, not McRae - who played for Mich. Tech and then the Leafs for a while.

Correct on both counts.  Thanks!

The saves section of the 2002 ECAC championship game is incomplete.
