Quote from: mike1960Happy for the win but a very frustrating game to watch for a lot of reasons.

For anyone like me who reads through these threads later, 12-10 Cornell win, with a lot of penalties at the end.

Anyone else from eLynah there besides TimV?  Too cold for me (cold urticaria notwithstanding). Give Tim a hand for showing up.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Only about 60 degrees colder from the last time they played a meaningful game.

Quote from: RichHInteresting that there is no Ithaca-based radio today.
Will there be any at all this season? The schedule has no radio listed for any game ...

If that's the case, I will miss Barry and Tom and Howie!

Maybe since it's still basketball season, there's no coverage?
There always was in past years.

Maybe somebody who's on Twitter (I'm not) can tweet at Barry and ask him:

I believe Barry is only doing home games on ESPN+

Can anyone tell me where is Michael Long?

Strange thing on the LiveStats yesterday--"CORNELL" was abbreviated "CORM".  A typo?  No, "ALBANY" was listed as "UALBANYM".  "M" must be for "men's team."  Whew--I didn't want to have to change the name on my diploma to "CORMELL".  ::looking::

I watched the Cornell/UAlbany women's game later on Saturday and we were CORW.  It took me a minute to figure it out, too.

Will this sport follow?

most of the participants in women's wrestling are small women's colleges. iowa making a big bet on it is huge for the sport.

About the radio broadcast - I emailed WHCU's GM and learned that, due to an Ivy League deal with ESPN+, Cornell will no longer have WHCU broadcast CU Lacrosse games.
To say this is disappointing is huge understatement, as Barry along with Tom and/or Howie provided unparalleled play-by-play and expert commentary on the games.  I'm sure many/most of us would listen to them while watching games on ESPN+.  Their banter, analysis, and historical reflections about Coach Moran during the Rutgers rain delay last year were absolutely priceless.

Hopefully this will not extend to hockey next year.

Wow, sorry to hear this.  But thanks for the update!

I'm going to miss Barry Leonard's "a little French pastry" call when we see a behind-the-back pass!

Any chance Barry & Tom will do the ESPN+ broadcast for home games?
