Quote from: TrotskyBU announcers are excellent, though reminiscent of chess commentary.

Chess commentators would pronounce "Andreev" better.

"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Cornell equals last period shot total (5) in the first six minutes.

Isn't the main announcer the guy from the prospects radio show on NHL radio (XM 91) on Saturday or Sunday mornings?

Nice goal.......

Trotsky

Nice clean goal from Regush off the fat rebound off Kaldis' shot

A great setup of Locke to take a 2-0 lead!

Good kill.  We're taking control of the game if we keep playing like this.

Lesson for this game: fuck passivity!

That was Berard.  Perfect poised pass from a freshman.  This entering class is so good.

Don't believe the USCHO scoreboard

What happened? The Twitter feed shows"...COR has looked like Res Hot Garbage. And Kaldis now sits for another iffy call."

Kaldis came in behind a BU player near the boards after the play was dead and pushed him, he stumbled and fell.  Yanni could have easily pulled up after the whistle.  It was dangerous AF and the guy fell in a way where if he'd been a foot closer to the boards he could have been very seriously injured.  I'd have given Kaldis a 5 and game for intent to injure.  They didn't.  We are lucky.

Galajda has really been able to see the play well.  A couple highlight eel* saves and just generally solid play, except for a couple juicy rebounds.

And for a guy with nothing on the board, Bauld has been huge all night.  He and Cam have saved our butts after a couple bad errors by Kaldis and Mitchell.

Stienberg is going to be a beast someday.

* Edit: I'm keeping this.  It's what I'd call my sports clips show.

I don't think the play was dead. I think the guy was looking up either because he was frustrated with his shot result or because he was actually watching the puck in the air. I wonder if Kaldis came in so hard because he was expecting the guy to keep moving, rather than pull up and gaze upwards.

LOL at the USCHO scoreboard being completely backwards.
