In the 5 minutes I watched (after I figured out it was on ESPN2) there was no difference in quality of play between ND-Minny and Cornell-Harvard.  Not tempo, beauty, skill, creativity of neither passing nor playmaking were any different.

[At stop light on the way from Hartford to Bloomfield]
Me: [checks phone] Still 2-0 Cornell over Harvard, Anthony Angello with both goals, one minute left in the third.
dss28: Nice!
Me: How much you want to bet, right now the Harvard net is empty, and everyone's trying to get Angello the puck so he can score his hat trick?
dss28: I will not bet against that, because I study the maths.
[Ten seconds later, phone buzzes, shows Angello scored to make it 3-0 with one second left in the game]
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Really?  Must be something about watching on TV vs in person.  Minny-ND OT on TV looked far quicker and more skilled that the CU-HVD game in person.

Listened to WHRB while stuck in traffic leaving game. Terrible announcers/color woman, but they had alot of nice things to say about the CU fans, both in numbers and voice.

harvard has as much skill as anyone, doesnt always translate to wins.

On TV they looked the same.  I expected Minny-ND to look quicker and crisper, but not after 57 minutes anyway.

It was mentioned on the webcast that a Cornell win tomorrow would clinch the Ivy title.

I think it's one point for a share and two for outright.

Magic Number relative to Harvard: 1 point clinches a portion; 2 clinches outright; relative to Yale: 1 point clinches outright.

My once red baseball hat is now tattered and a faded pink. If I was going to pull a Marie Kondo and toss it out after getting a new one, I sure cannot do so now.

It has been on the ice at Bright.

Never.

They have 7.  In the record (10) setting season, as of 1/26/05 they had... 3.

Either you are wrong, or Johnny 5 was right. The announcers (on ESPN3) tonight said we have 5 shutouts for the season.

My blue Cornell baseball cap was on the ice tonight too. I've always wanted to throw my hat on the ice for a hat trick and tonight was first time I did so. I even got it back!
I was at Princeton last year for Malott hat trick, but I only had one hat with me and it was too cold for my bald head to risk being hatless after the game.

Galajda now has 6, and Stewart has 1. That's 7.
