TELEVISION
ECAC Hockey has partnered with American Sports Network (ASN) to televise the 2017 semifinals and championship game March 17-18 at the 1980 Rink - Herb Brooks Arena, Lake Placid N.Y.

Eric Frede will be the play-by-play announcer with Colby Cohen providing color commentary.

Find the ASN channel in your area below for the Championship Game:

TBD......

ABOUT AMERICAN SPORTS NETWORK (ASN)

STREAMING
All ECAC Hockey tournament games will be available for viewing by a global audience and be aired through www.ecachockey.com through the technology of BoxCast.

Fans can watch on mobile devices as well as standard PCs and Macs. The games will be available on iOS devices as well as Androids.

Fans can purchase a game for $9.95 (US) for viewing directly from www.ecachockey.com.

TSN GO will also feature the the championship game.

Links can be found on the league's composite schedule - http://ecachockey.com/composite.

Too bad ASN is not found on many cable networks.

And it's also too bad that the ECAC link doesn't show anything. What they should say is, links will be found once we know the teams that will be playing. Par for the course.

Yeah, I found ASN once being re-broadcasted on the Comcast network, but only because Penn was playing.

upprdeck

hopefully someone pick it up and doesnt black out out locally.

CU2007

I wonder If ASN is somehow Roku-able. Anyone?

upprdeck

I dont think there is a roku stream but there is a Kodi stream.

At least there's video streamed and video via TV. If there's an outstandingly good play(s), maybe it'll make a pre-game clip heading into the NCAAs, or during the selection show.

CU2007

Is anyone planning on watching any games this weekend via the ECAC's streaming service (Boxcast)? If so, please reply as to how it went.

+1

There is indeed a boxcast channel for Roku - I added it last night. I wasn't able to find the game by searching "Cornell", "ECAC", etc. but I'm hoping it appears tonight.

Seems BoxCast mostly just broadcasts those bizzare super-church services with the jumbotrons and the hooterin and hollerin.

So, um... who is actually carrying these games?  ILDN is not.

Boxcast has 2016 links up and is in general a hot mess.  I can't find anything to do with this year's games from any round of the tourney.

Edit: Evidently the boxcast link will become available via the ECAC site: http://www.ecachockey.com/men/index  Cost is $9.95 and video is scheduled to begin at 6:45.

Makes me a little less confident it will show up on the BoxCast Roku Channel ... Guess we'll see

So ILDN is done for the season, hockeywise, right?

Which is to say, time to cancel my subscription (sorry other sports).
