Does anyone know how to get a broadcast of the game in Boston?  Right now nothing is listed for anywhere near this area.  Unfortunately some of us poor grad students broke the bank last weekend....

Okay, i'm going to be talking to the Sports Depot and other places around to make sure we can get the game in Boston.  I'll post it here when I get something arranged.

alright, Just spoke to the SPorts Depot.  They are willing to broadcast the game if we show up.  What I need is the KU band or C band sattelite info on the game so they know where to pick it up.  Any suggestions on how to get info like this?  Sorry, new to trying to set something up like this.....

John, I assume you found the page listing all broadcasts for the game:

I'd bet that Sports Depot could get FSNN or Empire (directtv or dishnet).

Good luck.

BTW, saw you in the crowd on TV during the third intermission of the ECAC championship game.

Bump....  I can't let the Indiana crew be higher than Boston.  Anyone thinking of joining me?

I should be at Sports Depot with a small crowd Saturday... Thanks for doing the legwork - did you confirm with them that they will have the feed?

jbeaber1998

I have confirmed that they have a satelite system that should be able to get it.  I'm trying to find the coordinates, either KU or C band.  They also may be able to grab the Fox Sports channels that are going to be covering it.  I'm just going to go there with everything I can find.  The guy on the phone was distinctly unhelpful.....

-J

P.S.  Chris, thanks for noticing.  We got a kick out of making it on TV for our three seconds....

Just another warning for Bostonians.  There is going to be a big peace rally in downtown on Saturday, I think at noon.  Budget some extra time for getting to the Sports Depot.  I'm goingot call them in a bit and harrass them til i speak to someone with a clue about if they get FSN North, Empire, or something else that will have the game for sure.  It's not that I don't trust them.....

Just spoke to the manager of Sports Depot and they have become useless....  We either need the Satellite coordinates or we need to find a different place with Direct TV.  Any ideas?

Get in the car and drive 1 hour and attend.

jbeaber1998

You got the money to pay for me?   ::help::      Being a grad student sucks.  I'll have a job one of these day but til then.....

Dick Betts

Understood.  The unfortunate part is its is one admission for both games and many of the seats were purchased by BC fans who won't show until the 2nd game.

The game is on the Empire Sports Network and Fox Sports North, both of which are available on a C-band dish.  Sports Depot can get it.

jbeaber1998

They asked me for coordinates.  Any ideas on how to get them?  I will just show up and be a pain in the ass if needed but I'd prefer to justy tell them what they want to know....

Those morons know how do it.

jbeaber1998

Alrighty...  I'm talking to Good times Emporium at 6 tonight.  They will be giving me a definite answer if they can get the game.  It's in Somerville.  If you want me to contact you directly about the location, drop me an e-mail at john.beaber@tufts.edu and I will tell you as soon as I know.  Sorry about this but no one is giving me a straight answer....
