Poor memory on my part, plus I did a search on McGrath but only went back 30 days since the article I found was dated Mar. 23.  Just trying to keep everyone informed, but you all already were.

In what must've been quite a series, Joe Leahy and visiting Penticton defeated Chilliwack 1-0 in OT in last night's game 7 to win the "Fred Page Cup" and the BCHL chamionship. Penticton led the series 3-1 before Chilliwack rallied to force a game 7.

Penticton will now host the Western Canada Cup that features the top teams from the BCHL, AJHL, SJHL and MJHL.  Both Penticton and Chilliwack will represent the BCHL in that tournament.

Incoming forward Brenden Locke and the Cobourg Cougars defeated the Brooks Bandits (Jeff Malott's former team) 3-2 in OT yesterday to win the RBC Cup rewarded to Canada's top Junior A Team. Locke, who was Coburg's leading scorer in the OJHL playoffs, had an assist on the tying goal with just over a minute left in regulation.

Joe Leahy and the Penticon Vees lost in the semifinals to Cobourg 3-1.

Sheesh, official visits at age 15.  I'd love to have him join the Steel (Topher Scott's USHL team) and see him play in my neighborhood.  Maybe the Steel's winning the Clark Cup will be an allure.

Defenseman Travis Mitchell from Muskegon of the USHL has committed to the Big Red. 6'2" and 185 lbs. He doesn't turn 18 until November and has a full season in the top U.S. junior league under his belt. He had 6 points in 38 games, and was a -1 for the season.

I'm assuming he'll be heading to Ithaca in 2018 or possibly the following year.

Here's more info
