dear all,

i don't think i can make it to providence, with all the tests coming up, and all the driving. also, the price is really ridiculous to ask of students (i guess we can blame the NC$$ for that one). so i'd like to save my money for buffalo tickets and hotel (i don't care how long i would need to sleep outside athletics for that).

anyway, i know there are going to be plenty of people on campus AND in the ithaca area who would be interested in watching the games on TV, but who do not get the channel, or would like the big crowd atmosphere.

for this reason, i am trying to speak to the administration about organizing a showing of the games on a big screen in willard straight. i know that currently the CU game(s) are not scheduled for TV, though they may very well be added to the tv listing as of tuesday (tomorrow). if they are, i was hoping people out there might be able to help me organize this. i am e-mailing some of the necessary people, to get the ball rolling. i guess we'd need broadcasting rights from time warner/YES, and university permission, to say the least.

does anybody have any suggestions for me? is there a general interest for people to go if i got this to work?

I suggest you don't count on getting Frozen Four tickets through Cornell.  I just don't see it happening.
