Third straight televised shutout for Lenny--and the team.

Blaeser/Moy's prediction:

Semifinals

Cornell defeats Brown, 2-0

DAMN they're good!

That is absolutely ridiculous how few shots Brown got off. It makes you wonder about LeNeveu's departure if the defense is really going to take a hit next year with the departure of the senior class. If you think about his decision, he might be able to leave right now at the top, what with getting so much national recognition and shattering these Cornell records. If next season or the season after is a disappointment (not to take away from his natural ability--but the defense could wear dangerously thin without Murray, Baby, and McRae), it might hurt his ability to get a good shot in the NHL.

Obviously this matters less in the NHL than say the NBA, because Lenny's already drafted and he clearly has an insane natural ability. But next year, his stats are almost bound to go down. Any thoughts?

Yeah. Your post is bumming me out. We still have an ECAC and national Championship ahead of us.

Let's keep going Red!

lenny now one shy of the alltime NCAA shutout record
Do NCAA tournament games count towards that, or does he have only one game to do it?

So much for spoilers, anyone who does not want to be spoiled, DON'T go the the uscho home page.

One could hardly expect a news outlet to wait for a tape-delayed broadcast.

Lenny was the second round selection of the Phoenix Coyotes, and played for Canada on the WJC.  I don' t think that if his 03-04 stats slip it will change anything for him.  And I want him to come back.

For anyone who saw the TV broadcast, what did you think of the black and white intro right before the game started of the Cornell players saying, "It's about ..." (ie. winning the ECAC championship, hard work, etc.). Later they had it as a commercial with just Hornby and McRae and players from other teams (ie. Moore).

I thought it was real cheesy ::rolleyes::

Oh, Blaeser and Moy also correctly predict the score of the Harvard game, 5-3.  Thats something....

How about the third "it's about" commercial, with the Bear?  It was cute the first three or for times,  but they played it twice per commercial break for much of the broadcast.

Sorry about the delay.  When I report from Brooklyn I am reporting from somewhere between Park Slope and Sunset Park, just north of historic Green-Wood Cemetery.
