Does anyone know if our players' families tend to go to Estero? I have to wonder whether the situation is very different for Maine because their players are close enough to drive home for the holidays, whereas ours are from all over and their families come to Florida instead.

Check out Maine's roster:

Versus ours:

Thread drift:  Maine has a player from Sweden named Bill Norman.

Ha! This is also the one item that struck me from perusing the rosters.

Per the Colgate USCHO thread, Colgate is tentatively scheduled for 1/30-31.  Since Denver is booked for the weekend of 10/31-11/1, that would imply UNO will be 10/31-11/1 and Denver will be 12/5-6.

All of this is provisional.

Thanks, I'll put them in as possibles.

Estero Tournament
Sun. - Mon. Dec. 28-29
Day 1-
Game 1: Miami vs. Notre Dame
Game 2: Cornell vs. Lake Superior St.

note: info came directly to me from Craig Brush, so it's not conjecture.
I responded pointing out the obvious conflict with NFL Week 17.
Nevertheless, just made hotel reservations.

First time playing LSSU since the 1996 NCAA Tournament, if I'm not mistaken.

"Clang"....     I can still hear P.C. Drouin's shot ringing off the crossbar late in that game.    Damn!!

Is one of those three the new regular co-host, or are we going solo?

Right now, those are all commitments for just 2014.  The possibility of a longer term partner is still a "work in progress."

Thanks. As expected, they will have played 4 games when they play us. The Ivy League presidents need to make a change.

Yale winning might have screwed us.

It would be interesting to know which of the members would be in favor of going to 34 games / normal start dates.  I'm not even sure our beloved tax scam university is on the side of right and goodness.  They know that from such little acorns of hypocritical symbolism great oaks of donor snobbery grow.
