It was great to hear your voice during the TV broadcast, Art.  Relax in the stands in Albany.  Hope to find you there.

Judy,

Tickets are the question. I got three last week for behind and to the left of the Cornell goal at $30/ea. (on the aisle too - Yea!). My initial attempt was to get them a couple of sections down the side closer to the blueline or center ice and they were already sold out (or at least "on-hold") for most of the bottom level. Otherwise it's upper deck which is a bit higher than at Lake Placid.

If those tix were not just held for schools to turn in, then i think this is going to be some really good turnout of college hockey fans, and the ECAC will be asking themselves why they didn't move here years before.

Also, there are pre-game street block parties planned outside the Pepsi before games for at least Friday and probably Saturday too.

The Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District will be hosting a pre-game get together, but I'll have to check to see which night that is on.

What we all really should do is bring signs and banners to support our icers and make a really impressive 'TV statement" for our school! After all, there is hockey talent across the northeast that will be seeing these games.

But, will it be Brown... or Yale... or Colgate that we feast on Friday night?

Hahvahd SUCKS!!!!!

Are you saying that the Pepsi might sell out in advance, or that the available seats may be in the nosebleeds?  I'll deal with high upper deck seats - I've sat in the last row of MSG more than once - but don't want to be blocked out entirely.

I'll be watching at home on TV, but I am now planning to go to Buffalo in any event.

It seems as if the lower section of Pepsi is sold out...

I think the Chief is just making the point that where you are seated is an interesting question.

The Pepsi will not sell out for the ECAC's.  As of now the upper deck is not open and isn't scheduled to be open.  I hope that a sea of red shirts causes the people in charge to open the upper deck, but even if that were to happen we would be no where near a sell out.

The regionals haven't ever sold out in the Pepsi.  In fact of the two NCAA tourneys held in Albany, only the 2001 version sold out.

I'll be there bringing my Cornell friends and my brother and his Colgate friends.  For his sake, I'm hoping we see Colgate on Friday night!  See you all in Albany!

And since when have we paid attention to what the numbers say on the tickets???

For anyone who has not yet read the recap from uscho...game time announced:

The Big Red (26-4-1), the second-ranked team in the nation, advances to the ECAC final four next weekend at Pepsi Arena. They will play in the first semifinal game at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Their opponent will be determined on Sunday.

Chief, for you and others who may not have seen this, I posted this on another thread before. She is willing to help us out with the best she can get.

I've just gotten info from the Cornell Club of the Capital District. They have sold 270 seats in a block at the No. 1 seed end of the rink. There is a contact person at the Pepsi Arena who can help others getting seats there. They have sections 109-112.

Her name and contact info is:

Michelle Lim Van Winkle

She's a Cornellian, I'm told, and is willing to help us get seats at that end of the rink.
