Iginla traded to Pittsburgh.........wow.  Douglas is in a nice situation, on paper at least.  Hope it works out, he deserves a Cup and so does Iginla.  Can't believe that Shero has pulled off deals for Iginla, Morrow and Murray.

and pulled off these deals without giving up any of their top-5 prospects.  Crazy.

How ridiculous is it that I'm a little upset that the bar is now so high for the Pens?  "If we don't win it all, this season was a failure" is a lot less fun than "we have a real good shot this year."

Murray at kleast is slated to be an unrestricted free agent after the season. I wouldn't expect a high price for a 2-3 month rental.

Another Moulson assist so far tonight, keeping him above 1 Pts/GP at 11-24-35 in 34 GP.

Meanwhile, Murray +1 on 18+ minutes TOI tonight with Pittsburgh.

Ottawa wins again (over the rangers) and Colin Greening gets an ENG for his 6th of the year. **]

When I wasn't paying attention, the Columbus Blue Jackets called Sean Collins back up on Sunday. He dressed in Edmonton tonight. Sean played nearly fourteen minutes, and he committed one penalty and drew another.

Pens beat Winnipeg 4-0 with Murray in the lineup. Pittsburgh player (Chris Kunitz?) on ESPN Sportscenter (:13 after the hour) says, "You guys [media] got a first look at Douglas Murray and he's pretty impressive."

I've seen "primary assist" cropping up a lot lately.  Is the result of somebody actually distinguishing between 1st and 2nd assists?  Is it a saber thing?

It's a conspiracy to diminish the efforts of puck-moving defensemen.  I for one will have none of it.
