Here's an article on Ned and his various ECAC connections.  Ironically, it was just forwarded to me by a player on the Yale '67 team, who handed us our only loss that season.  He has told me that Ned went into the Yale locker room at Lynah after the game and was extremely gracious in congratulating them all.
