Nice video about the game. Not crazy about the Joe Cocker, but my friends and I made it on the video, so hey!

Purely out of curiosity, does anyone know what years those alums were who did the old style cowbell chant? Because that was a great addition to the nights festivities (if only Michigan had left their cowbell at home...)

They stood near me when I was a freshman for one game, they graduated in the early 70s.

I had found myself at least three different times thoughout the video. I had no idea there was even a camera pointed in my direction through the entire game. I can see myself the best when the alum were doing the old style cowbell chant; I was the goober with my Ipod trying to take a picture haha!

I love MacDonald's lay-him-out (maybe could've been a boarding call) hip check that lead to this goal.

"Oh, you're going to try to toe drag it past me?  Bam!"

I don't think a hip check to the frontside  of a player in open ice constitutes boarding just because the guy hits the boards partly due to his own momentum.  Unless the ref is Feola or Dell, of course.
"Yo Paulie - I don't see no crowd gathering 'round you neither."

Check out Lowry holding the puck in the zone during the 2/3 line change that precedes this goal.

Yeah, hip checks usually result in tripping if you're getting penalized for them.

I didn't pick this up at the arena, but watching a youtube clip on a small screen, the colors in the camo on the wounded warrior jerseys sort of blends together to look gray, and it looks like we're wearing red and gray.  No wonder Michigan crapped the bed: we looked like Ohio State!
