Feb 9 scrimmage against UAlbany is at Schoellkopf, NOT Albany per CU Athletics website, which says also that there will be livestats.  For a scrimmage. Right.::wtf::

Hopefully the season will start soon and we can focus on game results instead of filler columns

How game-like is the scrimmage Saturday 2/9 (1 pm?) vs. Albany at Schoellkopf: jerseys with RS numbers? quarters aand game conditions like faceoffs and penalties? running scoreboard? I'm weighing whether to come back for hockey and this would be a nice addition to the weekend.

Even if it isn't a "real" game, it's worth it.  If the roster numbers aren't accurate, there will be plenty of people who know who is who [and you aren't shy, anyway].  The weather could be horrible, however....the main drawback to a lacrosse scrimmage in February.

Duuuuuude!  Who cares?  Skip the hockey. It's LACROSSE!::banana::::banana::::banana::

The comments link to recruiting videos about facilities, etc. for 'Cuse & Notre Dame. Does Cornell have similar videos? Where?

Among other things, the videos show very nice indoor practice facilities for lacrosse. Nowadays, does Cornell have a facility like these? (Back in the day, we had a field house with a dirt floor. I don't remember its name ::cry::. I just remember playing golf in it one January.)

Bacon Cage.  Took golf lessons there from Clayton Chapman, later commissioner of the ECAC.

Lacrosse practice from the Harkness years until the facility formerly known as Alberding was built were in the old polo barn just behind the Schoelkopf parking lot.  Thankfully, there was no youtube then.  It lives only in the nightmares of fat geriatric lacrosse alums.:-D

The tech gadget would be a thermite warming pack in my gloves. Forecast now says temps top out in low 20s Saturday. Still, it's tempting.

Scrimmage against Albany moved to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday to minimize travel issues.
