Jeopardy isn't an official sport, but I didn't know where else to post this. I was disappointed that Cornell wasn't the answer (or the question) on tonight's Jeopardy show which had the category of Ivy League Schools. The contestant who ended up winning lost $600 because he didn't know which school plays its football games at Franklin Field. There were also questions about Princeton, Dartmouth, Brown, Yale and Harvard. The two New York State Ivies got the shaft.

They already had their turn.  At least 10 years ago, one final Jeopardy answer was "These two Ivies are in the same state."  Only one contestant got it right, IIRC.

10 years ago?  Maybe 2 weeks ago there was a clue about a Greek city that is also the name of a city where an Ivy league school is located in New York State...

They were all such easy questions, too.

The questions basically amounted to:

Which is the oldest university in the US?
Which Ivy League School is in Providence?
Who plays football at Franklin Field?
Which Ivy League school is in New Hampshire?
Where is the Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs?

Don't you mean the answers?

Just caught up to this episode.

Despite the disappointing lack of Cornell as a clue, the ending was quite satisfying as one of the bigger d-bags I've seen on the show -- animated fist-pumping after winning, wagering $5 on DD, mocking the words another contestant used -- lost.
