I was glad to see this is a nice profile and not a story about a horrible accident or death.

I had this exact thought.

and #4. Dave is such a nice guy, I remember him from all the late night pick-up games at Lynah. I'm glad to see he is doing well.

Perhaps the title can be amended to read "Dave Nulle: Still Alive."

I'm glad to see you enjoyed my article. Dave is a really interesting guy and I had a lot of fun talking to him and then writing the article. Sorry about the somewhat misleading headline. I wasn't the one that wrote that but I originally didn't think there anything wrong with it.

Also, I probably shouldn't do this, but I was somewhat disappointed that my original lead, which I really liked, was changed during editing so I'm going to post it here.

Quote from: MeJulius Caesar returns victorious from battle riding in his chariot. As chariot goes by, the adoring crowd chants his name until he acknowledges them with a wave.

But the chariot is actually a red Zamboni. And the toga and olive wreath crown just a costume. Caesar is Dave Nulle, known to the Lynah Faithful as "Zamboni Dave." The adoring crowd, however, is real.

Which is mentioned late in the article.

But before that, it was a "Roby Steamer," whatever the hell that is.

Yes, but then the term Zamboni should be replaced by "ice resurfacing machine."

"Ice Resurfacing Machine Dave" has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

No, but the sentence should've been: "But the chariot is a red ice resurfacer."
