Ice Skating and Cornell Hockey!
Saturday, March 1, 2003

Come to the San Mateo Ice Center and get the feel of the ice by skating with fellow Cornellians and their families.  Then walk next door to Scores
Legendary Sports Restaurant and watch the Big Red men's ice hockey team play Yale, live via satellite.  This year's team is ranked #4 in the country, so don't miss the only televised regular-season game.  We'll try to re-create the excitement of Lynah in San Mateo!  Wear RED, or something with "Cornell" on it and be ready to cheer!!!

We'll join in the public skate at the Ice Center from 1-3:45pm, followed by
the Cornell game at 4pm.  Scores offers a full dinner menu including a
children's menu, as well as appetizers, burgers and a wide selection of
legal beverages.

The cost is $10 for CAANC members, $12 for nonmembers.  The fee includes
admission, skate rental, and light refreshments at the San Mateo Ice Center.
(No charge if you're just coming to Scores for the game.)  Please RSVP to
Rana Glasgal at rg87@cornell.edu
for the event, even if you're not skating,
so we can reserve the proper space at Scores.

Where were you guys for me last week, Tom?  ;-)

CU at Stanford

Greg:
No where last week.  I was stuck using my phone line on Saturday getting crappy "reception" over the Internet.  The video/audio finally improved in the 3rd period of the Union game.
Say, you can always jump on a Southwest flight, no?  and join us on this Saturday.  San Mateo is only 30 minutes north of the San Jose airport :-D
Heck, I will even buy you a drink if you show up.
LGR, Tom
