Evan Barlow has signed with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL..

It will be nice to watch him play there.

Islanders' Matt Moulson only had bare minimum insurance on pricey car in crash: suit

For a guy who just scored a $9.4 million deal with the New York Islanders, iceman Matt Moulson's not very slick with his finances

From this evening's NY Post.

"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Scrivens looks good tonight for Leafs in preseason game vs. Flyers. Very "big" in net.

Everybody else thinks Scrivens doing very well as well. Via ECAC, article on him in Toronto Sun. Everything that has been said about him in the pros goes along with him having a great head on his shoulders. But then we knew that.

Any alumni on the Rangers? The Senators? No? Well, I can't think of another place to ask this and I don't want to start a new thread. I figure this is where the NHL fans hang out anyway.

Which end of the rink do the Rangers defend? Either N/E/W/S or the adjacent section number would be great. Thanks.

Colin Greening is a Senator.  Rangers defend the 7th Ave. (east side) twice I'm pretty sure, but hopefully someone who has been there for a Ranger game more recently than I have can verify that.

Via ECAC, another article on Greening from The Telegram. It contains the mandatory NCAA scholarship line.
