To all,

What I've learned in running programs for years here in Boston and in my days at Cornell is that it is equally important to thank those that do something even if they would do it anyway as it is to thank people who do something they would not ordinarily do.

In that vein, to echo Coach Schafer's words at our reception after the game, thank you for being so supportive to the team on the roadtrip they look forward to all season.

To all those in the Boston area, to all those who made the trip from Ithaca, to all those who came from all six New England states, New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC, San Francisco and any area I missed, from one fan to another, thank you for continuing to take this game to the next level.

As I told Coach Schafer after the game, you bring the team to Worcester or Providence and we'll bring the party.

Nothing warms you up like coming in from a howling blizzard outside to see us #2 in both polls.

And thanks to you, Tom, and the Cornell Club of Boston for putting together such a terrific event to surround the game.  Already looking forward to next year's.

To Tom, Laura, Suzannah, Coach Schafer, the hockey team, and everyone else who had a hand in organizing the pre- and post-game activities:

THANK YOU!

Rebecca and I (and our traveling friends) all had a great time in Cambridge/Allston this past weekend.  It is always heartening to see so many alumni and supporters turning out for the Cornell-Harvard game.  We are proud and pleased to have participated in the 2002-03 season and witnessed two outstanding games.  The memories will last for a while, until next season starts.

Thank you Tom and others!

I made the trek up from NYC for the game and really enjoyed the pregame festivities (I missed the post game in lieu of singing the alma mater at John Hah-vahd's).  Especially having the band come in and play for us!

It was also funny seeing some familiar names from right here on the messageboard.  I didn't get there in time to get a name tag (I was the guy in the white cornell replica jersey with 99 on the back), so I didn't really spark conversations with anyone...but it was fun to see the faces behind the names.  I'll be in Princeton in 2 weeks...so maybe I'll meet some of you then!

Thanks again!
