Harvard QF Game 2 Photos

A lot of the photos are sort of artsy long exposure shots. Hard to isolate your subject that way in hockey with all the nonuniform movement inherent in a skater. Definitely very hit-or-miss (usually miss), but one can get bored with the whole high-ISO-battling-noise-and-stupid-Lynah-lights game, so pardon the indulgence. ;)

If you're wondering, the take-home message I got from it is "go big or go home." Either shoot at 1/1000 or 1/30, but everything in between just comes in as a bit blurry. When the very long exposure stuff works, it's pretty neat, even if you're only getting <5% return. And if you're doing that, don't expect to get goals and the like.
