Good god, that whole minute or so was terrible for college hockey: Cornell has 5 men on in a PK situation and none of the 4 (!!!!) refs notice; then, a failed clear attempt turns into a point-blank shot on Scrivens, shades of Jason Dailey.  Yikes.

I only saw the 2nd period, but pretty good effort so far.  The Niagara goalie has really kept them in the game, as we had plenty of chances to go up 3-1 before they tied it up.  While the Red has the edge in play, Niagara seems quite a bit better than last year, especially on the offensive end.

The Ipod/Iphone ESPN Scorecenter app still has us listed 1-1 at the end of the first, but in a bizarre report they have Merrimack 3, BC 4 at the HALF.
