We're not getting good ball movement on offense.  With long ball possessions, Syracuse has been getting guys free.  Need some halftime adjustments at both ends.  Don't know if we're tight or what, but too many very uncharacteristic, hurried passes on clears.  If we don't settle down this will be a long half.
Penn's leading Princeton 7-5 early in the 3rd.  Very interesting ...
...and as soon as I write that, Princeton scores 3 to go up 8-7

I'm no LAX expert, but it seems like we've been making a lot of low percentage (home-run) type passes on clears/offense, which has led to our man being outnumbered badly, which has led to the turnovers.  It seems we need to be more patient and focus on maintaining possession, then developing our "half court" offense a little more effectively.

I think you're right.

Seibald, Glynn, and Hurley all without a goal.  Cornell really has had no half court offense so far.

Oops.  Hurley scored the last Cornell goal.

Too much one-on-one and not enough movement without the ball

The strange thing is Syracuse has been patient on offense while we are rushing things and taking not-very-good forced shots.  That EMO did not yield a good shot.

Just too many mistakes: a blown EMO down by two; a moving pick; yikes

Now three straight unforced turnovers

I think it's the annoying "whoo!" of the Syr color man that's killing the Red...  :(
5 turnovers to Syracuse's 1; can't afford to do that
And that was the whole game. It was difficult to watch; sometimes we looked great, our fast break was wonderful at times, the face offs were great at the beginning, but we could not capitalize. The turnovers were the difference, as many were unforced errors. no way they should have been out shooting us when we had that major face off advantage at first. When they shot, they got the ball back; when we did, all to often it was one and done. But I can't say enough about the unforced errors.

We got them at a bad time, but helped to beat ourselves.

Having said that SU was a less than gracious host. First the program listed the "Cornell Red Raiders", then all that canned music, ugh. I know they don't have a pep band at lax games, but couldn't they have the courtesy to let our band play without playing the speakers over them?

Had a great shot when it was 12-10 and Cornell had a 30 second EMO but three straight turnovers took away all the momentum.  Gotta win out from here.
