With the field of this year's Frozen Four being BU v. Vermont and Miami (of Ohio) v. Bemidji State, I can imagine ESPN going nuts trying to find out exactly where Miami and BSU are located.

My guess is that 80% of the on air commentary will be about Jackie Parker and BU, 10% to Vermont alums currently in the NHL,  5% about Joel Otto, and the remaining 5% to the state of Ohio geography.

I assume John Buccigross and Barry Melrose will be the talking heads covering the game, anyone know for sure? Given how little ESPN cares about hockey, I cannot imagine them using anything but the obvious storylines.

The title of this thread gave me another idea: Lynah Faithful TV bingo!  Check a box for each time you see RichH, jtw, judy, Jim Hyla, mha, etc. on TV.  I want Rich H as my center square.  Rich, the camera loves you!

Yes, I know I just mixed bingo with Hollywood Squares.

After making numerous judy/RichH/jkahn/mha sightings on the Grand Rapids broadcast, I have to say my thoughts were similar to Lowell's.

Works for me, and we can play with the sound off!

I got my first 2 "I saw you on TV" emails (I was sitting next to Judy) and now am only a million or so behind RichH :-P.

Well, 10 txts, 4 emails, 2 calls this weekend, but close enough.  This weekend was understandable, given how few of us were there, and those of us wearing color clustered together.  Even more surprising was that the camera found me in Albany, and I was hiding in the upper deck at the time.  Honestly, I don't know what it is, but I don't think there's been a Cornell TV game away from Lynah where I haven't made it on the teevee in several years.  I think the consensus is "tall guy in Cornell jersey.  Take that shot."

Even more impressive is Judy, who doesn't wear Red to games because of superstition.

I got an "I saw you" email sent during Saturday's game and a phone call after from two guys (one on each coast) that I roadtripped with during my college days.  Nice to know that even if they aren't as crazy as me, that they're still into Cornell hockey.

Maybe cuz I made up for by being loud? And now I'm making up for it by being really really quiet.

This thread actually reminds me of the Frozen Four Jersey bingo I keep meaning to do. Now I need to find something that will auto generate bingo boards.
