This just in: Harvard 9, Duke 6...@ Duke.  Nice.
Yikes!  Harvard outshot Duke 37-16 over the first three periods.

Good start for the Ivies:

Cornell 18, Bingo 6
Harvard 9, Duke 6
Penn 9, Drexel 8
Yale 13, Holy Cross 8
Princeton 14, Canisius 6
Dartmouth 11, Hartford 10 (OT)
Brown 13, Lehigh 12

According to laxpower, Cornell's 2009 strength of schedule, based on results of games played so far by our thirteen opponents, is #2 behind only Duke's::screwy::.  Bizarre stuff.

Perhaps we can handle our SOS better than Duke handles its.

I couldn't get myself in front of a computer to watch or listen to the game on Saturday. Some questions for folks who watched online or in person:

Who ended up playing defense and long-stick midfield?

Who played on the second midfield line?

Who played on the man-up unit?

Who played at short-stick defensive midfield?

Any thoughts on Harer's play?

I did manage to find a few local news segments with highlights from the game. Even in those short clips, you can see what Pannell brings to the table. There aren't many freshmen who can offer that level of maturity and vision, and he's much quicker than you'd expect for a guy with that build. Now I understand why he's one of the few freshmen ever to win a starting spot under Tambroni.

Gawd, I hate that block C on the dorsal posterior of Cornell's shirts. At least they didn't drop the "Cornell" on the front below the numbers, a la Syracuse's new kit.

That is pretty hideous. Why would they even do that?

Can't answer any of your questions because the video quality was simply awful.  I didn't even know the ugly "C" was on the back of the jersey.
