5-1 final.  About what we'd expect.  While a lot of scoring packed in at the end, the score is indicative of the whole of the game control.

LGR!

Solid game, where were Dave's costumes tonight?

After resurfacing the ice after the first period on Friday night Dave noticed a problem with the vehicle. He dug around underneath it a bit, found the problem, and as he pulled it out, loudly declared, "Puck." Andy Noel was walking by, told him that sounded too much like a profanity, and punished him by forbidding him to wear his costumes until further notice.

OK, well, maybe not. Anyone have a better explanation?

I heard from at least a 3rd hand source, so take it for what it's worth. Friday, he was told he couldn't wear a certain helmet because it would restrict his sight, and I guess Dave felt that the costume wasn't worthy without the helmet.  I also heard that he had some car trouble on Saturday, so the costume simply didn't make it to the rink.

Thanks for the insight.

I can certainly understand the "restrict his sight" issue. I mean you never know when a dog, a deer, or a crazed Yale fan is going to jump onto the ice, right in his path. And of course it's not like he's been doing it twenty or thirty years, so would have sound enough judgment to decide for himself what he can or can't do. Very understandable.
