Nope, I distinctly remember the color guy giving it to Brendon and offering some kind of explanation, while I was simply thinking "wtf?"
Wow, a lot of B. Nash hate.  I've always been a fan, so take my post how you like.  The explanation was "the defense was dominant, and Nash stood out defensively."  Just because you took penalties doesn't mean you've played poorly.

Well, all the keys are saying is that you lose. Unless you believe in some weird superstition, that shouldn't say anything about a shutout, shutout or not they still lose. I think we get way too critical about how people cheer. Let's be happy they do it; no one can say that only the people who post here know the correct way. I hate the prolonged die, but that's the way 98% want to do it, so what!

So, I don't see that everything we say is implicitly obvious, and I can still enjoy the game and atmosphere. We still out-cheer the rest, so go and enjoy it.
Amen.  I've never understood the presumption of some that the way they cheer (or used to cheer, during their time on the Hill) is the right way, and the way others choose to support the team and enjoy the Lynah experience is the wrong way.

So someone did a "You can't score" cheer in a one-goal game. Big whoop.

So some folks prolong Dieeeeeeee. Yes it sounds pretty bad, but does it really matter?

So someone jingles keys in a shutout. No harm.

We all still want the same thing...LET'S GO RED!
