Unsold ticket availability?

Does anyone know what the deal is with all the unsold tickets?  Are they put on sale at some point?  I'm heading up there this weekend, and I'd prefer to get tickets from the ticket office if possible.

10 AM friday morning at the ticket office in Bartels.  All unsold tickets for the weekend go on sale then.
